Title reads: “London“. Agricultural Hall, London. Annual cattle show of the Smithfield Club. Various shots of cattle in pens in indoor arena. Farmers and buyers wander about examining the cows, bulls and sheep on displays. King George VI wins the “Devon Section“ of the show. Many of the Windsor entries are absent due to foot and mouth disease restrictions. Note: narrator makes lots of references to recent foot and mouth outbreak - explaining if Ministry of Agriculture had not removed the ban all the animals at the show would have to be slaughtered.
