Währing is is located in the northwest of Vienna on the edge of the Wienerwald. Währing is today due to numerous villas (e.g. cottage quarter) next to Hietzing and Döbling as a bourgeois noble district. I start my walk on Währinger Hauptstraße, which is often used for shopping and strolling. Around 50,900 people live in Währing.
