Jesus Loves... is my new mix series dedicated to the various music genres and time periods. The concept is clearly inspired by the legendary Todd Edwards 2003 DJ set at 4by4 party in Romford, UK (that’s where he was wearing that Jesus Loves UK Garage t-shirt). That video is here: And the first edition of the Jesus Loves series is dedicated to UK Garage and the year 1997. 1997 is somewhere in the middle of UK Garage history, when you still can hear the roots of UK Garage music (that is US Garage music) in the production. So, all the records are from 1997 and from UK except one that is 1994 and it is from US - it is Todd Edwards record: The Sample Choir - Feelin’ Lonely (Nervous records). I will definitely record a 1994 UKG mix one day, as well as 1999 UKG one. But for the second installment of Jesus Loves... i am preparing an American special...
