There was a whole network of fake profiles of girls on Instagram who flirted with soldiers and tried to find out information about the IDF’s plans for action in Gaza. The spies were even taught to speak a couple of Hebrew expressions and to send videos for credibility. The IDF press office reports that the network of accounts was operated by a foreign country - Iran, Russia, China or North Korea - in order to provide Hamas with intelligence information.
