The band 2Z , which debuted in January 2020, has released 33 tracks through 17 album releases over the past three years, including drama OSTs. During this period, most of the world’s misfortunes of “COVID-19“ threatened their daily lives, so their passion for music is represented by the nickname “Children Singing Hope“ given by fans. The fifth EP [Reason], released at the end of last year, can be said to be the last work of the ’2Z (first generation of 2Z)’ activity musically. Until now, Hard Rock has tried various spectrum of music that can be expressed as a band, such as New wave, Alternative rock, and Modern rock, but questions about itself, “What is the sound of 2Z alone?“ have always awaited them. Through more than ever before, 2Z has found some answers through the work of focusing on studio work and rearranging Korean music from the 80s. The first result of the change with passion and determination is this work [Like a Movie]. 꿈을 꾸고 있는 이들을 위하여… ‘Like a Movie’는 ‘한번쯤 꿈꿔봤던 세상에서 살아볼 수 있다면…’ 이라는 메시지를 담고 있다. 각박해 져만 가는 이 시대를 살아간다는 건 쉽지 않은 일이다. 그래서 꿈을 꾼다는 건 더욱 더 소중한 일이다. 이제 2Z(투지)는 이들이 꿈꾸던 무대를 향해 다시 달려가려 한다. 오는 7월 브라질에서 개최되는 ‘Asia Star Festival’이 그 첫 걸음이 될 것이다. 그리고 여러분께 얘기하려 한다. “보세요! 우리도 꿈을 향해 가고 있어요. 여러분도 할 수 있어요! 마치 영화처럼” “Like a Movie“ is “If I could live in a world I’ve dreamed of once...“’ It carries the message that. It is not easy to live in this era of harshness. So dreaming is all the more precious. Now 2Z is trying to run back to the stage they dreamed of.
