The 2018 World bronze medallist, Niyaz ILYASOV (RUS) came to Tokyo with every intention of getting in to the final and improving on his performance from last year. After a gruelling semi final against the 2018 World Champion CHO Guram (KOR), he went against Jorge FONSECA (POR). Unfortunately he felt like he couldn’t give his all after little rest between his semi final and final but tried his best.
