The Notorious IBE is an international bboy event first organized in 1998. Between 1998 and 2005 the festival took place at the Nighttown Music Theatre in Rotterdam. In 2008 the festival moved to the city of Heerlen. Every year IBE presents 40 to 50 different programs from Friday to Sunday at various locations in the city center.
