Create a Quick Shape or Path of Circles - Adobe After Effects Tutorial

If you need a line or a shape of circles, you can use the Repeater OR you can use a shortcut that will get you there much quicker. For a path, grab yor pen tool and make staight line. This will create a shape with a stroke. Then, set your Line Cap to Round Cap and Line Join to Round Join. Then, go down to your Dashes option and click the plus ( ) sign once to add dahses. If you click it again, you’ll get a Gap control. As you increase the value of Gap, you’ll see that we’re getting the effect that we want, but we’re not quite there yet. To get perfect circles, set the value of your dashes to 0. Now you have a line of perfect circles. This also works with shapes. Make a circle with a stroke and go through the same steps.
