uSky Transport pulls track strands

The core of a string track system is high-strength steel strands. Installation of anchor units serving to grip the string structure is followed by de-coiling, pulling, lifting, and tensioning the strands between two anchor supports. While de-coiling the strands are laid on the ground one after another using heavy machinery pulling the coils. Once all the strands are de-coiled, they are formed into a bundle of the upper chord of 39 strands, and lower cord of two bundles of 27 strands each followed by tensioning to the anchor supports with heavy-duty hydraulic jacks to reach design forces. Thus, step by step all the strands take their design position.
