This recording is a representation of the first recording sessions by Sade between 1st October and 19th October at PowerPlant Studios 1983 paid for at the time by RCA Records. These songs at the U4 club in Vienna are the actual recordings that got fixed first to tape before the band started to re-work them in November 1983 prior to the album release of Diamond Life in 1984. .This concert was with the original line up featuring Paul Cooke on drums. The band had just recorded the album Diamond Life at PowerPlant Studios in London and wanted to go through the new set live. This is the first ever gig after the recording of the album by the band and all concerned are getting used to the new material and arrangements.
