Gentle Giant - Cogs in Cogs [bass cover]

Normally I would link the artist’s bandcamp or other such websites, but I cannot find any so this will have to do: _____________________________________________________ A favourite of mine! Classic proggy wotsit tune, an absolute treat to play on bass. Recorded yesterday, but I only mustered the strength to do all of the Youtube shenanigens today. In any case, hope you enjoy, whoever you are. And feel free to share with bass-loving or indeed prog-loving friends. Thank you, my dear patrons. This is a bit of a change though, albeit a small one. My first non-Cardiacs bass cover. Though indeed not a far cry from anything I would normally do. I’ve been thinking recently of doing some more full covers of other tunes. I’ve had requests from so-called friends and fellow musicians and collaberators for more Cardiacs tunes. Which I will (obviously) get round to. Anything to put off assignments and essays and other University happenings. I’m also thinking of doing some other tunes, which I have already made half-arrangements for. Namely ’1612’ by Vulfpeck, and ’Last Track on Side Fun’, by A Formal Horse. We’ll see. Rather unnoteworthy remark, but you might notice that the text for this video’s thumbnail is in *red* lettering. I thought that the text for the other videos didn’t quite stand out enough. Not that it matters. But this video is as good a video as any to try it on, seeing as it’s such a great tune. Rambling on a bit because it’s 6:30am and I have a lot of stuff to be doing and I’ve had a lot of coffee. Goodnight or indeed Goodmorning, I hope you enjoy this here video. :) _____________________________________________________ Soundslice play-along tab for your learning enjoyment:
