Death Stranding: Cardboard Box - Metal Gear Solid Influence Director’s Cut

The Cardboard Box from Metal Gear Solid games by Hideo Kojima was used as a prop in the Death Stranding Director’s Cut reveal trailer. Sam Porter is shown trying to get through a place full of guards and he looks at a vent on the ground with rats nearby (in reference to the first Metal Gear Solid Game). Sam then takes a Cardboard Box full of oranges and flips it over spilling the oranges one the ground. The Cardboard Box is then placed on the ground and Sam opens it and goes Inside it (however he is not yet up to the point of sneaking in the cardboard box by flipping it over for sneaking cover like Snake). Sam then, disappointed, takes the cardboard box and places it back on the shelf. Could sneaking elements be put in Death Stranding when it is updated to run on the PlayStation 5 (PS5)? Perhaps, but unless Konami gives the rights of the MGS series back to Kojima Productions, it is unlikely. Leave comments on what you think the Director’s Cut of Death Stranding may entail.
