A few years ago, French singer Nicole set to music “Les Amants Solitaires“, a poem by Baron Fersen, a French dandy from the turn of the century who lived in Capri at Villa Lysis. “Les Amants Solitaires“ is a melancholy ballad about longing for the impossible love.
