Making a Full Tang Hunting Knife (Stabilized Walnut Handle)

The blade was forged from 80CrV2 steel and I stabilized my own walnut to use on the handle. I still can improve my stabilizing process, but the wood turned out great. The advantage of stabilizing woods, is that the pores are filled with a resin which reduces swelling, shrinking, warping, or cracking. The stabilization also makes the wood waterproof, and easier to work and finish.
