Hania Rani & Dobrawa Czocher – Chwile

We decided to enrich the remastered version of our debut album „Biała flaga” with a bonus track „Chwile”. This originally called „Dni których nie znamy” („The days we don’t know yet”). This song, composed by Jan Kanty Pawluśkiewicz for Marek Grechuta, is very well known in Poland and also special for us. “Chwile” in polish means “Moments” and we gave our composition this name because the main sentence in the chorus of the original song says that only those moments which we don’t know yet count. We performed “Chwile” in 2016 for the first time and kept performing it for many years, but we never really recorded and released this piece. After all of these years now finally we met with sound engineers Viktor Árnason and Agata Dankowska in the Polish Radio’s Studio 4 in Warsaw, and recorded Hania’s arrangement.
