Nadishana - Somos “Sonoglyph“ [handpan]

Nadishana - handpans, composition, arrangement Peter Somos - percussion, keyboards #handpan #progressivehandpanism I have to admit: I’m a big fan of minimalistic line ups. And this time it turned to be super-minimal :) Our goal with Peter was to develop the band concept when just a duo sounds like a whole band. Since i knew he’s amazing drummer and percussionist but also plays piano i suggested him trying to play whole rhythm section alone and i think he managed it really well! We also wanted to come up with unconventional hybrid drum set which doesn’t overpower the handpans and fits sound-wise to them. Yet sounding modern and interesting. It took us a while to get it done, and here it is. Calabash, broomsticks, ocean snare, pandeiro, sagat hi hat, bombo leguero, aludu, snare cajon, splash cymbals, bells. Enjoy :)
