Farmhouse crochet washcloth

This is one of my favorite stitches for a quick and easy wash cloth or dish cloth. Not only is this a beautiful stitch it is easy and beginner friendly. I am using a 5mm hook, and a 4 weight cotton yarn. Chain 28, slip stitch in 2nd chain from hook, then in the next chain a half double crochet stitch, repeat all the way to the end, chain 1 for the turning chain slip stitch in 1st stitch, then half double all the way down then repeat.
