Rondo alla celtica for Organ

A piece inspired by figurations used in Irish fiddle music in a classical styled organ movement with two themes, one rhythmical, the other melodic. Played by the composer, Mönch organ at Sankt Andreas, Leverkusen-Schlebusch, Germany. In this piece Celtic fiddle music figurations have been applied to the organ in a classical rondo form. A rhythmical main theme with an easy-to-remember pedal line alternates with a joyful second theme containing the a typical syncopation, sometimes called „scotch snap“. P
