Several warships (dreadnoughts) of the US Navy at sea. Side shot of one of the ships. These battleships have 14 and 16 inch guns. Lots of nice shots of the battleships at sea - their guns have a range of around 18 miles. Biplane takes off from aircraft carrier to act as a spotter as the ships approach the fire testing range. (Sound track runs out so no sync sound of guns firing) Good shots of the ships guns firing at a target some distance away which is radio controlled.
