Meteorite iron forged into a Damascus Steel knife

#shorts #cooking #chef Here’s a process showing how I reveal the pattern in this blade forged from thousands of layers of alloys fused together to create this pattern, in which the acid exposes the intricate “Fire In The Sky” mosaic damascus steel I forged with 4.5 billion year old meteorite iron integrated into the blade. The talking segment was filmed last after this procedure, in which the process shows how I turned it from bare metal to displaying the patterns. The meteorite iron I used is Muonionalusta meteorite iron that comes from near the small village of Kitkiöjärvi, which was discovered in 1906. It has survived nearly 4 ice ages, and is dated to be one of the oldest meteorites ever recorded. Dating to be older than the Earth itself, it comes from a planetoid that was once apart of the parent body of our solar system. Meteorite iron, naturally, is a very brittle and fragile iron. The reason being is partly due to its high impurities content, with little to no carbon o
