Why did Pope Francis ban the Latin Mass in Saint Peter’s Rome?

Did Pope Francis ban the Traditional Latin Mass #TLM from Saint Peter’s Rome? Not entirely, but he has relegated it to the only the private Clementine chapel beneath the floor of the Vatican (in fact, the most priveleged altar). Pope Francis has also banned all “private Masses“ inside Saint Peter’s Basilica.
