International Jaguar Day 2020

Today we celebrate the International Jaguar Day! 🐆 Did you know that the jaguars that live in Loro Parque are part of a conservation project within the European Endangered Species Programme? It is, with their reproduction, that they contribute to increase the precarious population of this species that is threatened, mainly, due to the difficulties they face in nature, especially because of the high rates of deforestation in Latin America, among many other man-made problems. 🌎
