UK now poorer than Mississippi

The UK has been an unofficial US state for years, but if it became a legal one, it would be at the bottom of the GDP per capita economic chart for the 50 states. Hong Kong has already overtaken UK, Slovenia is coming up fast, and even Poland is set to shoot past, economists say.
