Egyptian Belly Dance, (Raks Shisha), by Tarik Sultan #5

In the Middle East and North Africa people often will balance things on their heads when they dance socially, such as bottles, glasses, or canes to show off their balance and dexterity. This dance was created to reflect this tradition. The shisha or water pipe is a common object found in caffes and other social gathering places throughout Egypt. The Shisha Dance was first performed by Tarik in 2003 and is now being performed by renounded Egyptian male Oriental Dancer from Sharm il Sheikh Tito.
