Autodesk Inventor What’s New 2022: Productivity and Performance

Performance: Performance has been improved in Inventor 2022, with a faster start up time, and faster loading, and closing of designs. Performance has been improved when creating sketches and features ’in-place’ - while a component is open in the context of an assembly. Improvements have been made for changing view orientation - panning, and zooming, and when inserting and ’dragging’ a component to move it. Edge silhouettes are now rendered using the GPU, improving the performance when using visual styles with edges or wireframes. Productivity: The Fillet command is now in a property panel. The Property panel for the Measure command has been improved. All Property Panels continue to see enhancements that improve efficiency, including new keyboard shortcuts and color validation to highlight input errors. A new ’Send to Fusion 360’ command, makes it easier to share your Inventor models with Fusion 360. Dark theme is now out of ’Tech preview’ and is rolled out across the user interface. For more detail:
