The ’Lady’ track we all very well know, is a song by French house duo Modjo released on June 19, 2000. Written and performed by Yann Destagnol and produced by Romain Tranchart, it became a global hit, topping charts in over 10 countries, including the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Play. The song, at 128 BPM in B-flat minor, features a sample from Chic’s “Soup for One“.
