Full title reads: “Clapham. ’Spreading a little happiness!’ Churls - indeed - are they who do not thrill to this happy picture of Xmastide at Dr Barnardos Boys’ Home.“ Clapham, London, Boys playing bagpipes march down past ranks of their fellows who are waving branches of pine trees. In the midst of the bagpipes is a cook carrying a Christmas pudding. The boys give a display of Scottish folk dancing as they stand around the woman holding the pudding.
