HYBRIDATION

To erase his face is to ask the question of his identity. The puppet and puppeteer that we are, must find his true face buried under the mud. Metamorphosis is a way of questioning the unnameable that we carry in us. Olivier de Sagazan is a painter and sculptor. In 1996 he started working with performance art and he has since made over 100 performances in USA, China, India and Europe. We can find him, as well on stage as in movies: Samsara of Ron Frick, Channel Zero of Nick Antosca . In a video clip with Mylène Farmer, FKA Twigs, De Sagazan collaborated with Nick Knight and Gareth Pugh on a fashion film and soon in the movies: Discarnate of Mario Sorrenti and The Mute of Bartosz Konopka
