6.3 magnitude earthquake shakes Colombian capital! The world is praying for Bogota!

A 6.3 magnitude earthquake rocked the Colombian capital and other major cities on Thursday afternoon. The epicenter was at a depth of 10 km, about 160 km southeast of Bogota. Residents of the multi-million metropolis felt the buildings and floors shudder from tremors. Alarms sounded in Bogota. Thousands of frightened residents fled their homes, offices and restaurants. The earthquake was also felt in other major cities such as Medellin and Cali. A few minutes later, an aftershock of magnitude 5.7 followed.
