Putin: Russia to strengthen troops, deploy Sarmat and S-500 as conflict rages on

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that Moscow will continue to develop and strengthen its armed forces. He said Russian troops have already begun to receive S-500 anti-aircraft and anti-ballistic missile defense systems with a range of 500 to 600 kilometers. Besides, the first Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missile system, which is able to carry 10 or more nuclear warheads and decoys, will enter service by the end of 2022. Editor: Jiawen(Intern)
