Discover the Hidden Wonders of Japan’s Heartland on the Tourist Train

The Shikoku Mannaka Millennium Monogatari train interior is based on the concept of ’Shikoku Mannaka Sennen Monogatari’ and features a Japanese-style interior with the theme of ’Japanese Tatamama’, where you can enjoy a meal service using local ingredients, sightseeing guidance by attendants and the beauty of the Yoshino River, Oboke and Koboke valleys from the train window. The interior design is based on the design concept of ’Japanese Tatami-mai’, with a stronger Japanese taste. The space is based on the motif of an old private house and is surrounded by wood. The central part of the ceiling is made of mirrored stainless steel, and the window side is made to look like it is under the eaves, with a structure that leads from the low frontage to a high interior space with an empty head with a height directional effect. The lighting also makes extensive use of point light sources from a low position, creating a crisp and clear lighting effect. Car 2 has a different seating
