Blue Origin’s New Shepard first landing

On 23 November 2015, Blue Origin’s New Shepard space vehicle successfully returned to Earth for the first time. The New Shepard system is a fully reusable vertical takeoff, vertical landing (VTVL) space vehicle. During the test, the capsule reached an altitude of 100,5 km (329839 ft) and traveled at a maximum speed of Mach 3,72. The capsule may seat six astronauts and is large enough to float freely and turn weightless somersaults. Credit: Blue Origin/Jeff Bezos
