The Beatles recordings from January 1969 Get Back sessions for the film “Let It Be“, in which the Beatles were recorded and filmed every day for almost an entire month. Including other artists’ covers and songs never officially recorded and released. Including obscure cover versions, inspired improvs, and many Beatles original compositions not heard before or since. There was a brief idea that maybe they could release a back-to-basics recording collection of their previous songs, however, their memory of the number of substantive recordings fulfilling that fell short, leaving us with just these tantalizing scraps. All bands do instrumental jams when they are practising, but rarely have we heard such a thing from the most famous band in history. Some are hard rocking and others find the line between rock and experimental art.
