LIVE: Farmers protest in Neubrandenburg Germany against tax hikes

Live from Neubrandenburg on Monday, January 8 as German farmers, haulers and business owners continue their protests over government tax hikes to their industry. It comes despite a partial U-turn last week, with the government scrapping plans to remove the vehicle tax exemption and staggering cuts to tax breaks for agricultural diesel. Organizers are calling for complete withdrawal of the changes and a ’reduction in bureaucracy’. Workers are expected to drive their tractors through the city during the rally.
