Marilyn Monroe & Miller - Marriage announcement: June 29, 1956

In HiQ: Marilyn Monroe and Arthur Miller hold a press conference to announce their upcoming wedding. Just prior to the announcement, reporter Mara Scherbatoff was killed in a car accident while tailing Monroe and Miller on the way to the press conference. Although outwardly calm, it has been reported that both Miller and Monroe were terribly distressed during the press conference over the tragic accident.
