RUSSIAN T-90 MAIN BATTLE TANK PROVED ITS SURVIVABILITY IN DUEL WITH TWO BRADLEY VEHICLES

A close battle between the Russian T-90 main battle tank and two US-made Bradley fighting vehicles of the Ukrainian army. The Russian tank crew was reportedly ambushed on the frontlines near the village of Stepovoe, north of Avdeevka in the DPR on January 13. The Russian T-90 MBT withstood dozens of strikes from the 25 mm cannons of the US Bradleys at point-blank range. According to the reports, the surveillance device of the tank was damaged at the very beginning of the battle. As a result, the crew could not respond with precision fire. Taking advantage of the situation, Bradley vehicles opened constant fire in an attempt to destroy the tank. Ukrainian military sources claimed another victory, assuring their audience that the explosion at the end of the video marked the destruction of the tank. However, this was the additional system of dynamic protection of the tank which exploded and allowed to save the crew and their vehicle. The ammunition of the tank did not detonate. In fact, the tank was damaged but not destroyed. The crew could not continue the battle and managed to drive the tank to the rear areas. The crew remain intact and the tank may be restored. The Russian T-90M MBT proved its survivability.
