Ukrainian-Russian war. Day 602: Situation on Kherson front: During the las 24 hours Ukrainian Army managed to cross the river Dnieper and settled on the southern shore from where they eventually reached the outskirts of the villages of Poima and Pishchanivka/Піщанівка. Today Russian Army managed to drive back Ukrainian forces towards the northern part of the railway bridge, where they are present now. The Ukrainian actions, although not intended to establish a foothold in the localities, have demonstrated the possibility of carrying out a large-scale landing operation in which Russian troops could face difficulties.
