It began at the front from Kalinin to Yelets. This battle once again showed the massive sacrifice of the Soviet people. This feat cannot be forgotten.  Meanwhile, the West continues to try to forget the USSR’s actions in the victory over fascism. The falsification of the events of this terrible time has reached unprecedented proportions. But in history textbooks outside Russia, the soldiers of the Red Army are presented not as liberators, but as communist occupiers.
