Filming Locations of “The Bad Touch“ Music Video

Filming locations of the cult classic late 90s music video for “The Bad Touch“ by the Bloodhound Gang where the band is dressed as monkeys walking around in Paris 🇫🇷 Here are some additional and very interesting facts about the uncensored version of the video : - The video premiered and debuted in early 2000 (7th February) on MTV’s show “120 Minutes“. - In a statement by MTV “After reviewing the video again internally, there were some images we didn’t feel comfortable with and asked the record label to make some edits. The record company edited the video, and it is currently in regular rotation on MTV“. - Jimmy Pop (lead singer of the Bloodhound Gang) commented : “I would give any gay man two tickets to the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical of his choice if could describe exactly who’s going to become violent based on that scene“. - MTV had to cut a particular scene (that is present in the uncensored version) after receiving complaints by the Gay and Lesbian Alliance against Defamation (GLAD). They objected to the scene and stated that “a gay bashing scene in any context in today’s climate is not acceptable“. The scene in question included two french men dressed as sailors, eating french fries at a restaurant and then being interrupted by the band who beat them up with baguettes. Geffen Records complied and made changes/edited the video to remove that scene and then the video went back on regular rotation on MTV. - The band had already submitted a copy of the video with the scene edited out before the GLAD complaint. - Lupus Thunder (guitarist of the Bloodhound Gang) added more information : “Somebody at MTV fucked up and was playing the wrong version of the video. It would have never happened had MTV played the right version“. “In the end, it’s all humor, just us goofing off (...) Just go out, have fun, live your life and enjoy yourself. That’s pretty much all we’re about“. -The ending of the uncensored video involves a brown semi-liquid fluid.
