Out-of-control car flips across motorway forcing ambulance to swerve

Dramatic dashcam footage shows the moment an ambulance narrowly avoided an out-of-control car as it crashed through barriers and rolled across a highway in Peabody, Massachusetts, on February 13. The footage was released by Cataldo Ambulance Service, who said two of its paramedics were transporting a patient to Mass General Hospital in Boston shortly before 1 pm when the incident occurred. Tim Crosbie, the paramedic who was driving the ambulance, quickly swerved to avoid the vehicle as it spun out of control on Interstate 95. Crosbie, along with EMT Tim Wareham, rushed to the aid of the driver as they waited for other emergency services to arrive. Once the driver was being treated, they continued their journey to Boston. Crosbie told WCVB that the 17-year-old driver of the car was not seriously injured. In a statement, Cataldo Ambulance Service praised Crosbie for his quick thinking, and said his driving skills allowed them to avoid the crash. The Sun delivers breaking news,
