Where’s My Love | Book! Darkling & Alina [+kaznej]

Watch in 1080p with headphones. Ahhh can’t believe this project is finally done! I approached Laura about a collab about a week ago since I fell in love with her videos. She has such an effortless, simple, and mesmerizing editing style. I’ve always wanted to collab but never found another editor whose style I thought would mesh well with mine, until Laura. From the get go it was such a dream to work with her, from choosing a song, to creating a coloring, and hashing out our ideas. We decided to do something ~aesthetic~ for the first time and incorporate book quotes. From the start of our process we were so in sync and had the same vision, which came together so fast because of the level of inspiration and excitement we both felt. We even had a Google Doc to plan clips and voiceovers lol. I think the result is something unique and the perfect combination of both of our styles.
