’Biden needs to apologize!’ Japanese activists protest against G7 and nuclear war in Hiroshima

A group of Japanese activists took to the streets in the western Japanese city of Hiroshima on Friday (May 19) to protest against the G7 leaders’ summit and nuclear war. Protesters said their ire was sparked by a meeting of leaders of several nuclear-armed powers, including the United States, in a city that was devastated by the world’s first atomic bombing in 1945. The G7 summit runs from Friday to Sunday (May 19-21), in which member country leaders are expected to discuss a possible tightening of sanctions on Russia, and security concerns about China, among other issues. __________________ ShanghaiEye focuses on producing top-quality contents.
