Juiced Up Red Roselee Goes Apartment Hopping

Little Red Roselee found herself in a spot of trouble last night when she managed to enter and fly down an apartment building hall way, perform a nifty 90 degree turn before ending up at the top of a staircase. With no idea how to find her way back out, Roselee had no other option other than to wait for help to arrive. Rescued this afternoon by Connor, Roselee chugged back 35 ml of diluted blackcurrant juice and is now getting acquainted with our other Reds in care. Although we usually put our newly rescued bats into bed rest, Roselee clearly isn’t concussed or injured and I thought the best place for this pregnant girl is to be with others of her species until she can be released back to the wild in the near future.
