How to decoupage and apply a crackle effect

When I opened my little shop with furniture decorating products earlier this year (), I got this beautiful Annie Sloan book. But literally the day before opening, my cat decided to use the book as a scratching pole! After just a small mental breakdown, where I kept telling myself there’s nothing I could do to change the situation, I suddenly realized that there was. Of course there’s something to change the situation. I could paint the book...! Besides painting, I aIso applied some decoupage paper, a stencil, a WoodUbend moulding and I added a crackle effect to imitate a leather look. I am so happy how the damaged book came out after the makeover. Annie Sloan might not approve the actions of my cat, but I sure hope she is proud of how I used all her products to cover up my cat’s bad behaviour...! Here’s a list of the products used in this makeover: - Annie Sloan Country Grey - Annie Sloan Decoupage Paper Songbirds - Annie Sloan Image Medium (Decoupage glue) - Annie Sloan flat brush - Annie Sloan Craqueleur - WoodUbend moulding WUB1418 - Annie Sloan Clear Wax ™-wax-1?_pos=1&_sid=43a71536d&_ss=r - Annie Sloan Black Wax ™-wax?_pos=1&_sid=8104371d2&_ss=r - Annie Sloan Wax brush The links above link directly to my own webshop “De Goei Kamer“ (), where you are able to buy these products, when you are located in Europe.
