LA LA LAND Piano Medley by David Kaylor | Composed by Justin Hurwitz

Full piano medley of all music from the 14-time Academy Award Nominated Motion Picture, “La La Land”, directed by Damien Chazelle, and starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone. One of my all-time favorite films is Chazelle’s previous project, “Whiplash”. The acting is superb, the appreciation for jazz runs deep, and the very last shot made me audibly gasp with awe. Needless to say, I was quite excited to see this next flick of his, which seemed to be a modern musical, paying homage to the Golden Age of Hollywood. When I saw the film, I was amazed. I absolutely fell in love with the beautifully crafted music from La La Land, composed expertly by Justin Hurwitz, and immediately started learning the piano arrangements as soon as I returned from the cinema. There is such a wide range of genres featured in the Soundtrack and Score alike, and I adore every single piece of it. I hope you enjoy listening to my medley as much as I enjoyed arranging it.
