Sweet - Blockbuster - TOTP Alternate Take (OFFICIAL)

“Blockbuster” was written by Nicky Chinn and Mike Chapman and released in January 1973. It shot to no. 1 in the UK and spent five weeks at the top of the charts. This particular version filmed on TOTP in 1973 had to be re-recorded because a number of things went wrong during the performance. Andy explains the story behind the making of this clip and explains why the TOTP director chose to do a “take 2”.
