One of Britain’s most admired actors, Peter Capaldi - who hails from Glasgow - is best known for playing the twelfth version of Dr Who, and before that the sweary spin doctor Malcolm Tucker in the political satire ’The Thick Of It’. He is now commanding attention as a police detective in a new thriller ’Criminal Record’ which is co-produced by STV studios for the streaming service Apple TV Plus. It delves into some big issues like race, gender and instutional disorder.
