Buddy Rich Amazing Broken Stick Recovery

Ok. I created this short video of legendary drummer Buddy Rich during a live TV performance on the Dick Cavette show from 1972. During this performance with Cavette’s band, Buddy Rich breaks a drumstick just after his first solo. His recovery during this stick break is amazing!!! My video only shows the stick break, the recovery and a bit afterwards. What I did is have 3 segments of this. First, the short section in real time, then the section in slow motion, then once again in real time. The setup is as follows: Buddy just finished his first solo and the band and him get back into the music. Buddy starts to accent the band shots with his crash cymbal. At this point, the drumstick in his right hand breaks and a piece of it flies across the snare drum towards the musician on Buddy’s left side. Buddy now has a sharp broken stick in his hand. Knowing this will cut into a drum skin, he flips the stick in mid air so that the butt end of the drumstick is the part hitting the drum. He
