PC Wayne Couzens will serve full life sentence for the Sarah Everard murder in London

Pc Wayne Couzens used his covid warrant card to falsely arrest Sarah Everard while she walked home in March 2021. He claimed Albanian gangsters forced him to abduct a woman off the streets of London. On Wednesday, the Metropolitan police released previously unpublished material relating to the force’s investigation into Wayne Couzens. It included dashcam footage from the night Sarah Everard disappeared, an audio recording of Couzens and a video of him being interviewed by police, in which he attempted to deceive officers about what had happened.
