DIY Leather Tote Bag with FREE PATTERN (pt. 1)

We’re making this DIY leather tote bag completely by hand using vegetable tanned saddle leather from Hermann Oak. We’re hand sewing the bag using a saddle stitch, and setting all of the solid brass rivets from our sponsor Weaver Leather by hand using our trusty cast iron hammer. When you make a DIY tote bag while leather crafting, you’ve got a lot of options - you can use the free pattern to make an exact copy of our DIY leather tote bag, or you can get creative and make the tote bag your own.
